Black pintuck cotton, textured to the touch and sharp to the eye.

Pintuck gives black a surface to play with, so the colour never looks flat. Pair it with a chalky plaster wall, a rattan pendant and a dark timber bed frame for a moody, tactile room, with a linen throw in oatmeal to soften the edges. It suits a main bedroom where the bed is meant to be the focus.

Black Cotton Duvet Cover Set

This cotton duvet cover is 100% cotton pintuck at 166 thread count, with a super-soft weave and a unique design. Matching 60 x 70 cm pillowcases (one with the single, two with the double and king) are included, each with a 15 cm hotel closure flap. Single is 140 x 220 cm, double 200 x 220 cm and king 240 x 220 cm, so there is a size for a narrow bed and a wide one. Press studs close the cover, and a full-width 20 cm tuck-in flap keeps the duvet from shifting.

Machine wash at 40°C, and use a tumble dry if you like. A shake when it comes out of the dryer and it is ready for the bed.

What size duvet does each cover fit?
Single fits a 140 x 220 cm duvet; double fits a 200 x 220 cm duvet; king fits a 240 x 220 cm duvet.

Are pillowcases included?
Yes. The single comes with one pillowcase; the double and king come with two pillowcases. Each pillowcase is 60 x 70 cm (hotel closure with 15 cm flap).

What is a hotel or housewife closure?
It is an inner flap at the open end of the pillowcase that tucks over the pillow, so the pillow stays covered without buttons or a zip.

How does the duvet cover close?
It closes with press studs. A full-width tuck-in flap (20 cm) keeps the duvet in place.

Choose the width that suits your bed and give the room a dark, textured centrepiece.
