Drake, in black, is made for a bed that wants to look sharp every morning.

Under a sloped loft ceiling, black bedding sits comfortably with steel shelving and a tall floor plant in the corner. The darkness grounds the room, and the plant keeps it from feeling stern. It suits anyone who likes a stripped-back, modern bedroom, and works as well in a studio flat as in a family house.

Black Polycotton Duvet Cover Set

Drake is a black duvet cover set made from 80% cotton and 20% polyester on the top and the underside, in a 150 gsm fabric. That weight is comfortable for everyday use, and the print is double-sided. A double duvet cover measures 200 x 220 cm, single is 140 x 220 cm and king is 240 x 220 cm. Matching 60 x 70 cm pillowcases (one with the single, two with the double and king) is included with each size, so the whole bed arrives dressed.

Set the machine to 40°C and tumble dry. With nothing to iron, it is a short job from laundry basket to bed.

What size duvet does each cover fit?
Single fits a 140 x 220 cm duvet; double fits a 200 x 220 cm duvet; king fits a 240 x 220 cm duvet.

Are pillowcases included?
Yes. The single comes with one pillowcase; the double and king come with two pillowcases. Each pillowcase is 60 x 70 cm (hotel closure with 15 cm flap).

What is a hotel or housewife closure?
It is an inner flap at the open end of the pillowcase that tucks over the pillow, so the pillow stays covered without buttons or a zip.

How does the duvet cover close?
It closes with press studs. A full-width tuck-in flap (20 cm) keeps the duvet in place.

Choose your size and give a modern bedroom a darker centre that asks for very little upkeep.
