Warm sand sateen, the kind of colour that makes a room feel sunlit.

Sand suits peach and apricot cushions, a pale wood bed and sheer curtains that let the light through. A stoneware lamp on the bedside keeps the palette earthy, and a sisal runner beside the bed finishes it. It is a soft, easy choice for a main bedroom or a guest room that gets plenty of sun.

Sand Cotton Sateen Duvet Cover Set

If you like a sand-coloured cotton sateen duvet cover, this one has a printed top and a plain underside in 100% cotton sateen at T200. The surface is smooth and lightly glossy, which suits a warm shade. Press studs close the cover, and a 20 cm full-width tuck-in flap keeps the duvet from shifting. It is anti-allergy, with matching 60 x 70 cm pillowcases (one with the single, two with the double and king), and you can order the duvet cover set as a single 140 x 220 cm, a double 200 x 220 cm or a king 240 x 220 cm.

What size duvet does each cover fit?
Single fits a 140 x 220 cm duvet; double fits a 200 x 220 cm duvet; king fits a 240 x 220 cm duvet.

Are pillowcases included?
Yes. The single comes with one pillowcase; the double and king come with two pillowcases. Each pillowcase is 60 x 70 cm (hotel closure with 15 cm flap).

What is a hotel or housewife closure?
It is an inner flap at the open end of the pillowcase that tucks over the pillow, so the pillow stays covered without buttons or a zip.

How does the duvet cover close?
It closes with press studs. A full-width tuck-in flap (20 cm) keeps the duvet in place.
