Stripes meet clean white in Artic Stripe, a tidy look for a calm bedroom.

A white bed with a stripe design looks neat before you have even smoothed the duvet. We like it with a rattan bedside table, oatmeal linen curtains and a jute rug underfoot, which keeps the whole scheme light and natural. It suits couples, spare rooms and anyone who wants a made bed to look made.

White Polycotton Duvet Cover Set

Artic Stripe is a duvet cover set in an 80% cotton and 20% polyester blend, the same on top and underneath. At 150 gsm it is a practical everyday weight, and the print is double-sided. Sizes are single 140 x 220 cm, double 200 x 220 cm and king 240 x 220 cm, so there is a king size duvet cover for wider beds. Matching 60 x 70 cm pillowcases (one with the single, two with the double and king) is included, each closing with a 15 cm hotel flap.

What size duvet does each cover fit?
Single fits a 140 x 220 cm duvet; double fits a 200 x 220 cm duvet; king fits a 240 x 220 cm duvet.

Are pillowcases included?
Yes. The single comes with one pillowcase; the double and king come with two pillowcases. Each pillowcase is 60 x 70 cm (hotel closure with 15 cm flap).

What is a hotel or housewife closure?
It is an inner flap at the open end of the pillowcase that tucks over the pillow, so the pillow stays covered without buttons or a zip.

How does the duvet cover close?
It closes with press studs. A full-width tuck-in flap (20 cm) keeps the duvet in place.

The pillowcases are already in the set, so all that is left to choose is the size.
